Hello. I will admit I have not played this game yet. Just reading the rules left me wit too many questions to try playing. But first I love the theme. This is a great idea and I would love to see it expanded.

If I use Sheepis Charm to lower my opponents ferocity by fie and they have 0 does it drop to -5 or does it stay at zero?

Wool Wall reduces damage taken by half. Is that rounded up or down?

The player who goes second has an advantage. Why don't they decide what they are going to do at the same time with cards or something?

Charm is the most over powered ability in the game. If I have 10 charm and Cuddle Ambush I can stun you indefinitely and win by only using Cuddle Ambush.  With Cuddle Ambush and 10 attack I could deal 23 of your 25 HP before you get a chance to act. Pretty much the same thing with Cotton Cloud.

Cuddle Ambush, Cotton Cloud, Shear Shock and Shepard's strike are super powerful. Baa Blast and Fleece Flare are useless in a 1v1 which is fine if the game is intended to be 2v2.

Why do we roll a D6 to see who goes first? One of the abilities is agility.

Was this game made to be played 2v2?  It feels like this game was made to be played 2v2 but it does not say so in the rules.

Did you play test? I have not played the game and I noticed these problems. There are probably more I have not noticed.

I would love to play this game. The theme is so cute. I can't play this game it is broken.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your thorough review and suggestions. Let me address your questions and concerns:

  1. Sheepish Charm Effect on Ferocity:
    • If an opponent's Ferocity is reduced to 0, it stays at 0 and does not drop into negative values.
  2. Wool Wall Damage Reduction:
    • The damage reduction should be rounded up to ensure clarity and consistency.
  3. Turn Order Advantage:
    • You bring up a valid point about the turn order. To address this, simultaneous action selection using cards or tokens could indeed balance the game better and add a strategic element. This would prevent the second player from always having the reactionary advantage.
  4. Charm Ability Overpowered:
    • To balance Charm abilities like Cuddle Ambush and Cotton Cloud, we propose adding a cooldown period. For example, Cuddle Ambush can only be used once every 3 turns. Additionally, we could limit the number of times a Charm ability can affect the same opponent consecutively to prevent indefinite stuns.
  5. Powerful and Useless Abilities:
    • I agree that some abilities may need rebalancing. We will try to do it in next update very soon!
  6. Determining First Player:
    • Instead of rolling a die, we could use Agility to determine who goes first. The player with the higher Agility goes first. If both players have the same Agility, then a die roll can break the tie.
  7. Intended Player Format:
    • The game was initially designed for 1v1 battles, but it can be easily adapted for 2v2. The current feedback indicates that rebalancing for both formats will enhance the gameplay experience.
  8. Playtesting:
    • While the initial rules were not extensively playtested, your feedback is invaluable for refining the game. Future playtesting sessions will incorporate these adjustments to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience.

Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. Your feedback will help make "Battle of the Fluff: Sheep in Wolf's Clothing" a fun and balanced game. I hope you'll try it again once these improvements are implemented!

It looks pretty cool! I like the mechanics it has (and especially the illustration of the Ovejas juas juas juas) But I thought it was a playable demo! I think making a version not in "Tabletop" format but one that can be played on PC would be majestic ;) Many games are needed that appeal to this type of audience, but alternatives are also needed, I really like your idea! And I am willing to help you with details or things you need Feedback ;D

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like the mechanics and the illustration of our Fluffy Hero! We're currently working on the TTRPG format, but the idea of a PC version is really intriguing! It's great to know that there's interest in such adaptations. I'll definitely keep you in mind for feedback and any help we might need as we develop further. Thanks again for your support!

You are welcome! Rather, thank you for responding, I generally dedicate myself to leaving my opinion and criticizing games that have just been published with the desire to find interesting projects that I can talk to my audience, in particular I liked your project and I would like to see it grow a lot More, and I reiterate, thank you very much, if you need Feedback or something like that, my Development account or Discord or wherever you feel comfortable will always be at your service, you can tell me whenever you want. Thank you very much and good luck with your TTRPG! Of which I wish to see much more prosper!
